Name the airways that split from the trachea and go into the lungs.
The lower part of the trachea is supplied by arteries that branch from the aorta. Separate arteries carry blood from the heart to the alveoli in the lungs. State the differences between the arteries supplying the lower part of the trachea and those supplying blood to the alveoli of the lungs.
In Fig. 1.1, tissue T is one of the tissues in the trachea. Describe the structural features of tissue T that can be seen in Fig. 1.1.
