Equations — practice question

Ade and Maha each make cards. On one day, each of them spends 4 hours making cards. Ade needs x minutes for one card.
(a)[1]

Show that the number of cards Ade makes in 4 hours is $\frac{240}{x}$ cards.

(b)[4]

Maha spends 2 minutes less than Ade on each card, and together they make 70 cards in 4 hours. Set up an equation and show that it simplifies to $7x^2-62x+48=0$.

(c)[3]

Solve by factorisation: $7x^2-62x+48=0$.

(d)[2]

Work out how many cards Maha makes in 1 hour.
