A bar magnet is gradually brought closer to an unmagnetised metal object X. Once it is only a few centimetres away, the object starts to move towards the magnet. Why does this occur?
- AX is a non-magnetic material and magnetism is induced in it.
- BX is a non-magnetic material and magnetism is not induced in it.
- CX is a magnetic material and magnetism is induced in it.
- DX is a magnetic material and magnetism is not induced in it.
