A girl and her brother are positioned on opposite sides of a see-saw, as illustrated in Fig. 3.1. The diagram includes: girl, brother, a pivot, a distance of 1.9 m from the girl to the pivot, a distance of 1.2 m from the pivot to the brother, a downward force of 240 N on the girl, and a downward force W on the brother.
