Reactivity series — practice question

Two metals are joined together to form a simple cell, as illustrated. The table gives the voltmeter reading when different metals are used. If metal 2 is more reactive than metal 1, the measured voltage is positive. The larger the difference in the reactivity of the metals, the bigger the voltmeter reading. What is the order of reactivity?

  • Acerium, beryllium, cobalt, manganese
  • Bcerium, beryllium, manganese, cobalt
  • Ccobalt, manganese, beryllium, cerium
  • Dcobalt, manganese, cerium, beryllium
