For farmers, selective breeding of animals is highly important. Through selective breeding, many different sheep breeds have been developed.

Sheep are valuable in many regions because they provide meat, wool and milk. Table 10.1 gives characteristics of five sheep breeds. A farmer wants to market both meat and wool. Suggest which breed in Table 10.1 would be most suitable for this farmer. Give a reason for your choice.
