On Fig. 1.1, sketch the path followed by the parcel as it drops from the aircraft to the ground.
Calculate the interval from release until the parcel hits the ground.
Calculate the vertical component of the parcel’s velocity just before it reaches the ground.
Determine the speed of the parcel when it reaches the ground.
