In a respiration experiment, two yeast groups, population A and population B, were studied. The cells in population A contained no mitochondria, whereas those in population B contained mitochondria. Glucose solution was supplied to both groups, and ATP concentration was recorded once every minute for seven minutes. Fig. 7.1 presents the findings. Describe and explain how the results for population A and population B differ, as shown in Fig. 7.1.
